As this complete asterism/nakshatra falls in sign Virgo so the impact of ruling sign lord Mercury is more here than the ruling planetary lord Moon. Budh’s influence makes Hasta natives jovial and lighthearted. Intellect rules over mind in Hasta. Chandra can perceive, but not derive conclusions, which is Budh’s doing. It is Budh which guides Chandra while it is Chandra which nurtures Budh. Hasta is all about this interplay between Budh and Chandra.
